About Elmway Education
Elmway Education provides consultancy, advisory and professional development services to schools, academies, local authorities, education organisations and individual professionals.
Founded by Deborah Myers, Elmway Education draws on over 30 years’ experience across classroom teaching, school leadership, commissioned services and senior roles in local government.
Deborah is a senior education and SEND leader with a strong track record in improvement, commissioning and system leadership across schools and local government. Her work is driven by a strong ambition to improve the life chances of children and young people, champion high-quality education, and strengthen the systems that support them. She is passionate about education and children’s social care working closely together. Children and families lead complex lives, and securing positive learning experiences and good outcomes requires joined-up, strategic working across education, children’s social care and wider partner services.
She has held senior roles as Director of Education / ADCS across county councils, unitary authorities and metropolitan boroughs, giving her a strong understanding of the complex educational landscape and the challenges facing schools, local authorities and wider partners.
